Our Programs

                                           Spring Program Updates
Spring has officially arrived, and it’s going to be a wonderfully busy season both on and off the farm! Our weekly riding and unmounted classes are in full swing, and humans and horses alike are enjoying more sunshine, less mud, and a lot of quality time on the trails. In April, we will welcome Trellis Supportive Care back to the farm for a 4-part series for grieving veterans, as well as their caregivers and family members. Participants will engage in meaningful unmounted work with the horses, and these guided interactions will support and reflection opportunities. This spring, we are also launching Empowered by the Herd, an organizational teambuilding program that promotes team cohesiveness and leadership development through unmounted equine-assisted activities. Our Annual Spring Fling Horse Show will take place on Saturday, May 11th and preparations are underway to make this the best show yet. Riverwood riders of all ages and abilities will come together to compete in Equitation, Obstacle Course, and Pole-Bending classes, and our talented unmounted students will also complete in a special division of these classes.
The MEO and miniature horses, Midnight and Candyman, have been active in the community this spring. We are incredibly grateful for all our program partners and look forward to a fulfilling season both at the farm and on the road!
